SHOP I  is a transitional housing program for singles
 

SHOP II is a transitional housing program for singles and families (2 family limit)

  • Federally funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

  • Provide transitional supportive housing for single men and women exiting substance abuse treatment programs and/or clients defined as homeless with shelter verification, or evictions within past 30 days.  

  • Emphasis is placed on providing soft-skills for societal reintegration

 

Wayne Homeless Network Project 1 (Out-Wayne County)  

  • Federally funded HUD program in collaboration with TASMD, Wayne Metro, The Salvation Army, Access, and various other human service agencies in the outlying county communities. 

  • Services homeless and at-risk individuals and families throughout Wayne County (Except Detroit)

  • TASMD assists with referrals for housing placement, transitional housing, motel vouchers, household needs, and comprehensive case management for six months to one year.

 

Michigan Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative (MPRI) / Home For Now

  • A collaborative effort between various State of Michigan departments, non-profit and faith based organizations 

  • Short-term housing of formerly incarcerated clients for 90 days

  • Supportive services, crisis intervention and individualized goal setting  

  • Promotes public safety by reducing recidivism

  • Continuation of Transition Accountability Plan (TAP) which is developed for each inmate during incarceration
